Last week I talked about pattern recognition is a key to growth, and today I want to highlight how accountability helps the process.
[Here's last week's email]
Sometimes you need somebody else to point out your patterns.
The older we get, the more engrained our habits and patterns are; the less we recognize a) what we do, and even more b) the reasons why we do them.
We're like fish who never realize they're wet. Or landlocked mermaids that haven't touched the ocean for decades.
We're capable of so much more, if we could only see and break the patterns.
Friend, I believe we all need mentors and coaches to help us. Accountability to not just measure and manage, but challenge our "norms."
What if our "norms" could be completely harmful to our goals, and yet feel as natural as a fish in water?
But this takes humility. Vulnerability. And maybe a bit of faith.
Where do you feel stuck or stagnant?
- Business?
- Health?
- Career?
- Relationships?
Come on... no one's got it all together with no room to improve.
If you can be open and find a person.... you can start the journey to change.
Create a Great Day!
